Preventive Care

Since most dental problems are painless in their early stages, it is important to visit your dentist regularly. Otherwise, you risk not being aware of those issues and causing further important damages.

Dental Checkup : You should book regular dental checkups every six months. If you pose a higher risk of developing oral diseases, you should book appointments more frequently.

Dental X-rays: Dental X-rays help the dentist to look for signs of dental problems that are not visible to the naked eye, such as tooth decay and gum problems.

Teeth cleaning and dental screening : Teeth cleaning is usually recommended every six months in order for the dentist to eliminate dental plaque and stains that cannot be removed at home. They also allow the dentist to look for cavities.

Dental Sealants : Because of their deep furrows, the chewing surface of children’s teeth are more likely to decay. Their premolars and molars present pits and fissures that make it difficult to clean properly for people of all ages. However, sealant application on specific teeth can help prevent cavities.

Fluoride application : Fluoride is proven to be effective in reducing the impact of cavities. It remineralises specific weakened dental spots.

Fluoride gels that are applied during your visits at the dentist as well as fluorinated toothpastes and mouthwashes strengthen your teeth while giving them better resistance against cavities.
